Anonymity With in the Adult Sex Industry

This blog is going to be pointed towards the online sex industry that does not include meet ups, hook ups, or any in real life happenings.
There is a rule in the sex industry about names.
The name you give is your name. There is no pressure to give out your real name. There is no reason to hunt down someones name. Most importantly, you do not give out any one's legal name, for any reason, what so ever.
This rule goes for Sex workers, as well as customers alike. It is a safety concern for both parties. Our society as a whole does not condone openly speaking of having sexual activities. They like to pretend that, sex is only for baby making, and that little thing comes from a stork.
If you masturbate and are public about it, a voyeur, exhibitionist. have a special kink, an odd fetish, are anything but straight; you have become black listed from society and must be punished for it.
But...
You can't be blacklisted if no one knows your real name..
You wont be shamed for something that you aren't embarrassed of.
You won't be thrown out of your home, or have your family taken away for expressing yourself.
You can disappear if you have to.

As a model, I chose to keep my sex and work life separated from my home life and family, for my safety, and my families safety. I had heard and read the horror stories of fans or people that just watched hunting down girls, kidnapping them, stalking them, looking up their families. The list of things that could happen about outing a cam model is pretty long,

As a viewer I keep my identity secret and separate from my model status. I to like to view and tip models that are entertaining, beautiful to me, and funny. As a viewer I don't want people to know who I am because in today's society, just viewing someone doing an adult act upon themselves is seen as some disgusting perversion of a thing to do. When in all reality, its pretty damn natural and normal. Ever watch your significant other shower? Masturbate, or even change clothes? CONGRATULATION YOU ARE A VOYEUR!

How to keep yourself anonymous in this industry.
Create an email specifically for your account, as well as a separate twitter, and other social media outlets that you plan on using as this anonymous person.
DO NOT USE SOMEONE ELSE'S IDENTITY.
This includes, their name, pictures, email, home address, any of it. If its not a fake person you are making, then you are stealing some one's identity.
Do not share your PG pictures that you have on your family facebook, to people in your industry.
Make your user name unattached to your real life.
Say your name is bob smith and you were born in '84 and your favorite team is the colts. DO NOT make your user name BSmithColts84.

If you have found someone else's true identity or they have given it to you, you should treat it with as much regard as a business does with your private information. It is called the HIPPA act. You keep it to yourself and do not give it out to anyone for any reason what so ever, unless the said person that the identity belongs to gives you permission to hand this information over to another person of specific choice.

But Bell, I don't care if people know who I am.
That is wonderful, and fine, and your choice. You and you alone are the only one that can decide how much safety you should have and how much protection you wish to put up for yourself and your family. Some feel they need none, and others feel they need more. Feel free to let people know your real information as much as you please.

  1. Right on Bell, Love the latest blog entry. I completely agree, a persons personal info is their own. if they choose to give it out openly then great but if you are told in private or if you somehow find it on your own then you don't make it public any further than what it was.
